iLoveEnglish User Agreement

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using iLoveEnglish ("we", "us", or "our") at iloveenglish.me, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not access or use our services.

2. Description of Service

iLoveEnglish is an all-in-one AI-powered English learning platform. We provide interactive tools including flashcards, grammar checkers, AI tutors, word games, vocabulary lists, pronunciation analyzers, community forums, and progress tracking systems. These services are provided 100% free of charge to help users master English.

3. User Accounts & Security

  • You may use some public parts of the website without an account, but full features (gamification, cloud sync, achievements, forum) require signing in with Google.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information and keep it updated.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that provide false details or violate our safety rules.

4. Acceptable Conduct & Fair Use

As a student or member of the iLoveEnglish community, you agree NOT to:

  • Post or share inappropriate, offensive, hateful, sexual, or illegal content on the community boards.
  • Harass, bully, insult, or exploit other members of the platform.
  • Attempt to compromise, hack, spam, or reverse-engineer the codebase or servers of iLoveEnglish.
  • Abuse AI tutor and grammar resources by using them for non-educational, malicious, or automated tasks.
  • Share personal or sensitive financial information inside public areas of the application.

5. Community Forum Rules

All posts and comments on the iLoveEnglish community must be written in English to encourage active language practice. We enforce a strict moderation policy powered by AI content filters. Violations will lead to standard warnings or immediate, permanent bans based on severity (3-strike policy).

6. Intellectual Property

All software, interface designs, graphic elements, custom games, algorithms, and content of iLoveEnglish are the exclusive intellectual property of iLoveEnglish. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of any part of our platform without prior written consent.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Content generated by our AI features (AI Tutor, Grammar Checker, Drafting Studio, Quizzes) is powered by Google Gemini API. This content is provided solely for educational purposes. We do not guarantee the 100% correctness of AI responses. You are advised to verify critical grammatical or professional rules independently.

8. Gamification & Virtual Rewards

XP (Experience Points), streaks, virtual daily quests, levels, and badges have no physical or monetary value. They are purely indicators of language learning progress. We reserve the right to balance or modify the reward formulas and levels at any time to keep the experience fair and engaging.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

iLoveEnglish is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or entirely secure. We are not liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from your use of the platform, including data loss or academic mistakes.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any legal disputes arising out of these terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Istanbul, Turkey.
